LanScan is a simple and efficient IPv4 & IPv6 network scanner that discovers all active devices on any subnet: the local one, or any public subnet that you configure.

IPv4 Features:
→ Auto-detection of configured interfaces: Airport, Ethernet, Virtual interfaces ...
→ Scan the IP range you like, from 1 IP to the whole IPv4 address space!
→ Scan your local network with ARP packets
→ Scan public IP network ranges with Ping / SMB / mDNS packets
→ Display the IP address, MAC address, hostname (4 max) and vendor associated
→ Discover the SMB domain if any configured
→ Hostname resolution: DNS, mDNS (Apple devices) and SMB (Windows devices)
→ Custom hostname edition
→ Custom comment for each device
→ Open custom URL in browser
→ Export results in CSV files
→ Hide/show each column

IPv6 Features:
→ Displays Link-Local (private) and Global (public) IPv6 addresses.

Restrictions in free trial version compared to Pro In-App Purchase:
→ Some hostnames, comments, TCP ports or IPv6 addresses might be obfuscated in free trial
→ The free trial only obfuscate results, but display them all : if a column is blank or empty, buying a Pro In-App feature won't make any new result appear.

Non Bene

Scansione ok, live scan non aggiorna i dispositivi in tempo reale, nel procacciare le porte aperte non è il massimo, ci sono altri software (maledetto windows) che funzionano meglio. Dopo averlo acquistato non trova TUTTI i nomi degli hostname presenti nella rete, su 51 dispositivi ne trovsa solo 6.
Nulla da ridire su la ricerca dei Nomi dei 'Venditori' quelli ci sono tutti.
Soldi spesi male.

Finding *all* hostnames on a network depends on how the devices are configured. Nowadays most devices restrict hostname discovery due to privacy features. The question is not if LanScan is able to discover them, but more if the device *allows* its hostname to be discovered through mDNS or SMB. If another LAN scanner discovers hostname of devices that LanScan doesn't, then contact us by email and we will investigate : support@iwaxx.com

Nella v.4.3 si può impostare il range di scansione

La trovo efficace ed estremamente veloce, non capisco chi affermail contrario. Sarebbe ottima se ci fossero 2 cose: un alert customizzabile (pop up e sonoro) in caso di nuove connessioni e la possibilità di bloccare singoli MAC. In questo modo diventerebbe un utile strumento di sicurezza attiva anzichè essere un semplice monitor passivo. Comunque per essere gratis non si può pretendere di più, è stabile e con un’ottima interfaccia.
