Description
The Unarchiver is a small and easy to use program that can unarchive many different kinds of archive files. It will open common formats such as Zip, RAR (including v5), 7-zip, Tar, Gzip and Bzip2. It will also open many older formats, such as StuffIt, DiskDoubler, LZH, ARJ and ARC. It will even open other kinds of files, like ISO and BIN disc images, some Windows .EXE installers. The list is actually much longer - see the program homepage for the full list.
The Unarchiver also tries to detect and correctly handle the filename encoding in the archives it opens, allowing you to open files from every part of the world without getting garbled filenames.
The Unarchiver aims to be the only unarchiving program you will ever need, and to stay out of your way.

Die Nr.1 der Archiv-Problemlöser
Seit Jahren gehört The Unarchiver zu meinem Arsenal an nützlichen Tools v.a. wenn der Mac das Standard-Arbeitsgerät ist, man sich aber Cross-Platform bewegt oder bewegen muss und folglich mit allen möglichen Formaten von Archiven konfrontiert wird. Zusammen mit Keka (als Archiver) meine bevorzugte Kombo.
Grosses Lob an die motivierten Entwickler, die nicht nur immer noch weitermachen (das Tool gibt es schon länger als den App-Store), sondern auch dazu noch kostenfrei.
Persönlich denke ich wäre ein kleiner Mindestpreis keine falsche Entscheidung und sicher würde jeder User gern etwas geben, das wäre wenigstens eine kleine Entschädigung für all die Jahre der stetigen Entwicklung (zw. 1 und 4€ würde ich denken).
Absolute Spitze!!! Nicht vergessen, es ist kostenfrei!!!
Mit der neuen Version hat die Geschwindigkeit deutlich zugelegt. ich war aber auch vorher schon mehr als Zufrieden.
Falls hier jemand nicht zufrieden ist, dem sei angemerkt, dass es sich hier um ein Programm handelt, das NICHTS kostet. Da sollte manch einer seine Kritik
mal ins Verhältnis setzen und sich fragen, was er selbst alles so für „Nichts“ anbietet und wie viel Support manim Gegenzug bei ihm erwarten könnte.
Das lässt manch einen Kommentar hier ziemlich lächerlich erscheinen!

benutze ich seit Jahren und bin vollauf zufrieden.
Und läuft sehr schnell auf meinem macmini 9.1 M1; danke für den nativen Build
